This is the Highlands Difference
We know your child by name
Our Prep – 12 College offers a community approach to your child’s educational journey, which is personalised and uniquely tailored to their needs and ensures that they will not get lost in a crowd.
We handpick our staff
Your child will be taught by highly-qualified and dedicated Christian staff who continually upskill professionally throughout the year. Our College values are mirrored in each and every staff member to ensure your child is totally cared for.
Student success
Highlands graduates are highly sought after! Nearly all of our graduating students gain entry into their first choice when selecting university courses. We also have high success rates for our graduates entering traineeships and apprenticeships of their choosing as well as above average employment rates for those students who choose to enter directly into the workforce.
On-Campus Out of School Hours Care (OSHC)
We provide the best care when you need it the most. Our before-school, after-school and vacation program is run by a dedicated Christian team who care for your child from 7.00am to 6.00pm.
Our students are 21st-Century ready
In addition to their academic subjects we also empower our students to thrive and flourish in a constantly changing world. We will partner with you as we equip your child with skills for online safety, building resilience through camps and workshops, developing the whole child.
We offer private bus runs
Our private bus run caters exclusively for Highlands students who due to their location are unable to get to school. Your child will be driven by members of our staff who care for your child.
We’re diverse and inclusive
We believe that every child matters and we are naturally inclusive. At Highlands your child will learn the value of cultural diversity, they will build life-long friendships
Our learning goes beyond a classroom
We offer a variety of non-classroom opportunities that will grow your child on their journey. From early morning band and choir practices, to lunchtime Robotics and Japanese Clubs to after-school Arts in Action.
We care for every student’s wellbeing
We have a Director of Wellbeing, trained to help students foster their wellness, and a full time counselor with decades of experience. We believe in teaching students wellbeing strategies and tips to equip them for a healthy adult life.
